Our Story

Family-style dinners cooked slow in Swampscott, so you can simply open the door and gather.

An overhead, bird’s-eye view of a playful Sunday dinner picnic setup on a cozy checkered blanket spread across a hardwood floor, designed for indoor comfort. A variety of delivery containers are opened and neatly arranged: individual trays of glazed ribs, creamy coleslaw, fluffy rolls, and bright orange sweet potato fries. Colorful ceramic bowls hold dipping sauces, while simple white plates and metal cutlery are already laid out, waiting. Warm, golden hour light streams in from a nearby window, casting long, soft shadows and gentle highlights on shiny sauces and textured fabrics. Captured in photographic realism, the composition is balanced and tidy yet casual, creating a fun, relaxed atmosphere that emphasizes the ease of turning delivered food into a playful Sunday ‘picnic’ dinner at home.
A neatly set dining table for two, featuring clean white plates, polished silverware, and clear water glasses, all waiting for delivery food to arrive. At the center sits an unopened, cheerful yellow takeout bag with a subtle logo, surrounded by folded striped cloth napkins and a small vase holding a single green leaf. Soft evening light filters through an unseen window, complemented by a warm table lamp that creates gentle shadows and a golden glow. Captured from a slightly elevated angle in photographic realism, the composition follows the rule of thirds, with the bag as the playful focal point. The atmosphere is lighthearted and anticipatory, conveying the excitement of an easy Sunday dinner where all you have to do is set the table.

How Sunday Dinnah Got Started

We started Sunday Dinnah in a tiny Swampscott kitchen, trading recipes with neighbors and passing pans over fences. Today, we still cook like it’s Sunday at Nana’s: big flavors, stretchy pants, and room for one more.

Our Crew

A playful, colorful flat lay of Sunday dinner menu options arranged across a light wooden table: glossy pizza slices in an open box, a bright green salad in a clear bowl with visible water droplets on the leaves, a steaming tray of lasagna with browned cheese, and a container of golden fries. Between the dishes lie empty white plates, fun patterned napkins, and silverware arranged in inviting pairs. Small sauce cups add pops of red and creamy white. Bright, even studio-style lighting creates crisp shadows and vivid highlights on melted cheese and fresh vegetables. Captured in photographic realism from directly above, the composition feels energetic and organized, suggesting the delightful variety of food delivery choices available for a carefree Sunday dinner at home.

A vibrant spread of comforting Sunday dinner dishes arranged on a rustic wooden dining table, every plate carefully styled and steaming hot. Golden roast chicken, glossy macaroni and cheese, buttery cornbread, and bright roasted vegetables sit on playful, mismatched ceramic plates. A folded stack of colorful napkins and simple white plates are already set, ready for serving. Warm, overhead pendant lighting casts a cozy glow, creating soft highlights on the glossy sauces and glassware. Shot at an eye-level angle in photographic realism with a shallow depth of field, the background gently blurs into a softly lit, neutral-toned dining room. The mood is inviting, playful, and homely, emphasizing the joy of food delivery that feels like a real Sunday family feast without the cooking.

A whimsical, neatly organized kitchen counter scene featuring a row of closed, branded food delivery boxes stacked like playful building blocks beside a fully set tray. The tray holds two plates, polished cutlery, folded napkins in bright colors, and a small ceramic dish of salt and pepper. In the background, a simple stovetop sits cold and untouched, emphasizing that no cooking is needed. Cool, diffused daylight from a large unseen window washes over the countertop, creating soft reflections on the smooth surfaces and gentle shadows beneath the boxes. Shot from a low, slightly angled perspective in photographic realism, the image has a clean, modern aesthetic with a lighthearted mood, highlighting the tagline concept that for Sunday dinner, all you have to do is set the table.

Sous-chef Priya keeps the line humming, tasting every gravy until it sings.

A single, beautifully arranged delivery bento-style tray resting on a dark slate placemat atop a smooth oak table. Each compartment overflows with a different comfort dish: tender sliced roast with a glossy sauce, roasted root vegetables with caramelized edges, a perfectly square serving of macaroni and cheese with a browned crust, and a small dessert tart with a shiny fruit glaze. A folded striped napkin and empty fork sit patiently beside the tray. Soft, focused spotlight-style lighting from above creates dramatic highlights on sauces and subtle shadows in each compartment. Captured in photographic realism at a three-quarter angle, the mood is polished yet playful, like an elevated Sunday TV dinner that has been thoughtfully delivered, ready to be enjoyed with zero prep.
